§ 7-42. BOARD OF EDUCATION PROPERTY.
The provisions of Subtitle One of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey (N.J.S.A. 39:4-197 et seq.) are made applicable to the roads, streets, driveways and parking lots at various schools located in the Borough of Sayreville.

7-42.1 Sayreville War Memorial High School.
a.
All vehicles must park in designated areas between the lines provided.
b.
Handicapped Parking. The following stalls are hereby designated for handicapped parking:
As shown on the attached site plan.*
c.
Permit Parking. The following stalls are hereby designated as permit parking for all vehicles that are properly identified:
As shown on the attached site plan.*
d.
Entrance and Exits. The following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated for entrance and exits only.
1.
The most easterly driveway shall be for entrance only.
2.
The most westerly driveway shall be for exit only.
e.
Lane Use. The most westerly drive northbound:
1.
The left lane shall be used for left turn only.
2.
The right lane shall be used for right turn only.
f.
Speed Limits. The speed limits for both directions of travel in the parking lots shall be fifteen (15) mph.
g.
One-Way Streets. From the intersection with the most easterly drive, running westerly along the entire front of Sayreville War Memorial High School to the exiting driveway.

7-42.2 Sayreville Middle School.
a.
All vehicles must park only in designated areas and between the lines provided.
b.
Handicapped Parking. The following stalls are hereby designated as handicapped parking:

Permit Parking. The following stalls are hereby designated as permit parking for all vehicles that are properly identified:

d.
Yield Intersections. The following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as yield intersections:

One-Way Streets. The following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as one-way streets:

f.
Speed Limits. The speed limits for both directions of travel in the parking lot shall be fifteen (15) mph.

7-42.5 Harry S. Truman School.
a.

7-42.6 Samsel School (Central Valley).
a.
All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided.

Handicapped Parking. The following stalls are hereby designated as Handicapped Parking:

d.

No person shall make a left turn from school property on to Ernston Road.

7-42.7 Woodrow Wilson School.
a.
All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided.

7-42.8 Selover School.
a.
All vehicles must park in designated areas and between the lines provided.
b.

Speed Limits. The speed limits for both directions of travel in the parking lot shall be fifteen (15) mph.

7-42.9 Additional Traffic and Parking Regulations.
a.
Tow-Away. Any vehicles parked or standing so as to obstruct or impede the normal flow of traffic, block entrances or exit ways, loading zones, oil fills, any grass area, pedestrian walkways or as to present in any way a safety or traffic hazard may be removed by towing the vehicle at the owners or operators expense.
b.
All signs, posts, bolts or other necessary material be installed and paid for by the applicant. Work shall be checked by the Police Department to insure installations meet State and Federal specifications and all signing shall conform to the current "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices."
c.
Penalty. Unless another penalty is expressly provided by the New Jersey Statute, every person convicted of a violation of this ordinance or any supplement thereto shall be liable to a penalty of not more than fifty ($50.00) dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding fifteen (15) days or both.

7-42.10 Effect of Regulations. If any part of this regulation is for any reason held to be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of the regulation.
This section shall take effect upon passage and publication in accordance with the law and upon approval by the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
